Becoming an A Student

     Tutoring seems to be my job since 6^th grade; I worked as a math assistant in after school program when I was 11 years old, the job pay me by letting me choose a drawing class to take for free; this was pretty much my first job, I worked two days a week, 2 to 3 hours each time. Some of the students in class were same age or even older than me.

     My second tutoring job started the second year I was in high school; I was enrolled in honor chemistry and college chemistry at the same time, so some of my classmates asked me for tutoring. In addition, I found another work during the summer as a math and English tutor for a Chinese girl.

     Recently I am tutoring 6^th to 10^th graders; I have been used many lessons from different websites, and one of the sites I used often is called Complete School; this is a very helpful site for any student that has trouble with homework, especially math and English.

     My younger cousin took the high school exam this month; he will be graduated from junior high school next year. His grade has not come back yet but he told me that he knew most of the answers. The last practice test he took from me scored above 500 out of 600. That was a huge improvement from him that I did not expect at any time. The first time he got only 200 something, and math is one of his worst subjects in school.

     My other cousin go to school in special high; though the school work may be easier than regular school, he still had some troubles working on English. However, the site’s lesson and methods helped him a lot; he is improving in reading and comprehension, which are very hard for him because of his concentration problem.

     I encourage everyone to try out or browse the site if you or your children have trouble doing math and English. This site really help!
