World Heart Day

Yesterday is World Heart Day. In this day the slogan 'Team up for Healthy Hearts', World Heart Day is being observed Sunday with various awareness programs worldwide. The last Sunday of every September is celebrated as the World Heart Day in compliance with WHO's call to create public awareness of risk factors for heart diseases and stroke, and to promote prevention.

Every year, more than 100 countries across the globe participate on the Day as cardiovascular diseases - heart attack and strokes - have been claiming 17.5 million human lives each year. In this regard, Norvic - Escorts International Hospital on Saturday organized an awareness program in the capital.

We need to exercise for our good health and heart so we take care our foods too.
