Recap: The Jonas Brothers and
Steffi finally got off the
plane and are waiting around
in the lobby for the layover
to end. Joe and Nick got into
a fight over who should (or
shouldn't) talk to Steffi.
Kevin started laughing so much
at them, he couldn't stop and
sat down beside Steffi.

Recap: The Jonas Brothers and
Steffi finally got off the
plane and are waiting around
in the lobby for the layover
to end. Joe and Nick got into
a fight over who should (or
shouldn't) talk to Steffi.
Kevin started laughing so much
at them, he couldn't stop and
sat down beside Steffi.

'Hey, wassup?' Kevin said to
Steffi with a relatively
straight face.
'Not much. What are they
arguing about?' she asked.
'See, normally I'd tell you,
but they'd probably kill me if
I did. But,' he added, 'I
think you'll be finding out
very soon.' He had to stop
there because Nick was trying
to get around Joe, going first
to the left then to the right
while Joe kept moving in front
of him. Kevin wasn't able to
keep his straight face
anymore, and his laughter was
so infectious, Steffi began to
laugh with him. By this time,
she had given up on trying to
write anything in her notebook
and it was sitting open on her
lap.
Thirty minutes later, Joe and
Nick were still at a stalemate
and hadn't noticed Kevin had
left them. Both Kevin and
Steffi had gotten over their
giggles enough to carry on a
conversation without too many
pauses. She had told him about
her sister being in love with
their band, particularly him,
and had scored an autograph on
her CD.
'So why are you still here?'
Kevin asked.
'I could ask you the same
question.' They paused to
laugh at Joe and Nick again.
'I'm actually waiting for this
layover to end. I'm visiting
some friends down in LA and
this was the only affordable
flight that had the most
direct route without me having
to go any farther than Atlanta
to catch it.'
'That's crazy, me and my
brothers are going back on
that flight too. We're taking
a break inbetween tours and
we're planning on chilling at
home with our family for a
while.'
'Nice.' There was an awkward
pause, made more so by the
fact that Nick had just gotten
around Joe, come up to her,
and was staring at Kevin with
his mouth wide open.
'Hey, that wasn't fair! Nick,
get back here.' Joe yelled
while coming up in front of
Steffi. 'Kevin? When did you
get here?'
'About 40 minutes ago. Did you
know that you guys look really
funny when you're fighting
over a girl? Oh...oops. You
weren't supposed hear that,'
Kevin said, addressing Steffi
with his last sentence.
'Consider it not heard,' she
replied.
'Will you excuse me and Kevin
for a second? I need to tell
him something. We'll be right
back.' Joe said angrily,
grabbing Kevin by his arm and
dragging him off to the other
side of the room; once out of
Steffi's hearing range, he
started to yell at Kevin for
talking to Steffi. Meanwhile,
Nick quickly sat down in
Kevin's seat.
'Hey, what's up. I'm Nick.'
'You know, some how I already
figured that out. I'm amazing,
aren't I?' Steffi said
sarcastically. After some more
small talk, Nick asked out of
the blue,
'So, what do you write in that
notebook on your lap?' Steffi
immediately hid the book and,
panicking slightly, snapped,
'What I write is my business,
not yours.'
'Ok...' Nick said. Another
silence ensued during which
Joe and Kevin came back. The
four of them stood there
awkwardly for a while until
Steffi excused herself and
walked away to a different
side of the airport lobby.

OOOO, KEVIN'S IN TROUBLE. AND
NICK'S ATTEMPT AT A
CONVERSATION GOT SHOT DOWN
TOO. STEFFI IS ON A ROLL! BUT
