through Calexico, make it into
an expressway, half mile
length, with businesses lining
both sides beyond service
roads.

You make the west side have a
large parking lot in front and
behind the out-sider chain
businesses that run twenty
fours a day, and that way it
becomes a parking lot that
people going into Mexico can
use.

The east side can be for local
businesses.

A casino in Calexico can also
draw in Glamis Goers,
Snowbirds, RV parks, truckers,
etc.

Put low-rent housing and
apartment buildings right
behind the businesses. And
insist each business employ so
many male and female high
school students.

EL Centro needs to be
improved, too. Make the land
between Imperial Ave and 4th
Street along Interstate 8 into
a large commercial 'Enterprise
Zone' with businesses on it,
and easy access for truckers
and RV's.

Next, change Imperial Ave into
an expressway, highway, or
into a submerged
freeway/interstate extension
through EC till it passes the
railroad tracks. Encourages
more traffic through EC.
