for the USA Basketball
International Challenge before
opening up the Olympics
against China in Beijing on
Aug. 10. Dwyane Wade continued
to shine off the bench and led
six U.S. players in double
figures with 19 points. Dwight
Howard added 17 and Michael
Redd chipped in with 16 off
the bench. LeBron James had a
strong all-around game with 15
points, five rebounds and six
assists. Rimantas Kaukenas led
Lithuania with 17 points. The
2008 U.S. Olympic team
consists of Carmelo Anthony,
Carlos Boozer, Chris Bosh,
Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard,
LeBron James, Jason Kidd,
Chris Paul, Tayshaun Prince,
Michael Redd, Dwayne Wade, and
Deron Williams. The 2008 U.S.
Olympic coaching staff
consists of Mike Krzyzewski,
Jim Boeheim, Mike D'Antoni,
