Baby Boomer American women in
their mid 40's to mid 60's
entering a new stage in their
lives, it's no surprise that
health issues are one of their
top concerns. From retirement
to leisure, they are
redefining all aspects of what
getting older means and are
looking for ways to take
control over health conditions
that interfere with their
everyday lives. Yet, a recent
landmark study reveals that at
least one third of women in
this generation suffer from
one or more pelvic health
conditions, but many suffer in
silence because they lack the
knowledge to ask about
treatment. Now there is a new
education awareness campaign
being launched on June 19
designed to arm women with the
tools and knowledge necessary
to overcome this problem. In
addition, results of the new
study, the first-ever research
on this area of women's
health, will be revealed. For
