YouTube recently deleted about
30,000 videos and a bunch of
users because of alleged
copyright violations. What
exactly can we get away with,
and what will get us into
trouble? I debate the issues
with myself.

what I've done is 'fair use,'
but a judge might disagree.

2 - The issue is far more
complicated than could be
covered in a 4.5 minute video,
and I'm not a lawyer (I only
play one on YouTube).

3 - When I say it's 'crystal
clear,' that's a joke. It's
murky as all hell. But I think
it can be cleared up.
