there are many pitfalls that
can potential stall or end
your acting career. Watch out
for the following five major
pitfalls to ensure the success
of your acting dreams.1. Avoid
scams. There are many
organizations that will simply
take your money and never give
you results. Be wary of
organizations that ask you to
spend large amounts of money
up front, or ask you to spend
a lot of money on your own
without explaining results.2.
Don't force it. If you are a
parent and you want your child
to act, make sure it is what
they want. Forcing anyone
into a career as stressful as
modeling or acting may have
negative effects later in
life.3. Find the right place.
Research the agencies you are
thinking of using. Many
people don't realize that
certain agencies only deal
with certain groups of people.
You may spend money
unnecessarily in a way that
will not be proactive to your
career.4. Don't spend large
amounts of money. While there
are costs to acting, avoid
unnecessary or overly
expensive costs. Always find
out what you need to do before
spending money.5. Be confident
and reliable. Begging for
parts will not work, and may
hurt your career. Be patient,
be persistent, and be present.
