friends.Alice is unrestrained

sudden proclamation of 'love
at first sight', Alice decides
to follow her 'love', a high
school student, dragging the
reluctant Hana along with her.
It is then that Alice
recommends Hana to consider
the boy's friend Miyamoto as a
possible boyfriend.Although
not interested at first,Hana
soon finds herself falling for
him.Time passes and it is now
April, the season of the
cherry-blossoms. Hana and
Alice are now both students at
Tezuka High. Having joined the
school's Comic Storyteller's
Club in hopes to get closer to
Miyamoto who still doesn't
even know her name, Hana
secretly waits for the
opportunity to arrive - until
one day, it does, but in a
rather unexpected fashion. Out
of desperation, Hana tells him
a lie which ends up bringing
the two closer. However, this
being Hana's romance, nothings
goes smoothly. When she tells
another lie in order to
protect the first one, she
gets her best friend Alice
involved. But unfortunately
for Hana, the lie prompts
Miyamoto to fall for Alice
instead of her, complicating
things further...Stuck between
love and friendship, Hana and
Alice's relationship begin to
change subtly as the two
slowly find themselves growing
up.Through its breathtaking
visuals, hana & alice captures
a period in life experienced
by everyone. It is a gentle
coming-of-age story of two
delicate and sensitive souls.
