Namchee Bazaar and I got
retinal detachments due to
altitude, I had to hike down
to Lukla almost blind and then
be helicoptered out to
Kathmandu. When we landed

I was in the Everest region on
a mission trip in 2004 in
Namchee Bazaar and I got
retinal detachments due to
altitude, I had to hike down
to Lukla almost blind and then
be helicoptered out to
Kathmandu. When we landed
there were huge riots going
on. I had to go to the medical
school for an exam and
eventually be flown back to
the USA. Here is my
