SYNOPSIS: See the view of the getaway scene from 'Miss Patty Valentine's' window. Next, ride from the triple murder site, to Rubin Carter's hangout just blocks away, to the home where the guns are believed to have been dumped, then to the spot where Carter and John Artis were first stopped by police. The entire route in real time.THE CRIME: Murder of three white people in the Lafayette Grill bar, Paterson, NJ at 2:30 a.m. June 17, 1966. Two blacks walked in and started shooting.THE MOTIVE: Revenge for the murder of a black bar owner by a white man just hours earlier, prosecutors say. Carter was with the murdered man's stepson, Eddie Rawls, AFTER the murder. They were at their hangout, a bar just 1300 feet from where the triple murder would later take place. KEY POINTS: Minutes after the triple murder, police saw a white car at two points along this getaway route. Carter's car was white. It was positively identified as the getaway car less than an hour after the crime. Paterson's streets were virtually deserted at 2:30 a.m.TIMING: The stop at Eddie Rawls' home to dump the guns accounts for why it took them 10 minutes to drive this route, which takes less than four minutes on the video. It also accounts for police seeing a 'speeding white car' heading TOWARD Rawls' place and, six minutes later, a slow-moving white car heading AWAY from Rawls' place. The slow car looked like the speeding car, so it was pulled over. It was Carter's car.BOB DYLAN says Carter and Artis were 'far away in another part of town.' This video will show you just how bogus that statement is.MAP OF ROUTE: http://www.graphicwitness.com/ carter/...NARRATED by Cal Deal.Carter's conviction was overturned for procedural errors, NOT evidence.More on Carter and the murders: http://www.graphicwitness.com/ carter
