Ok here I am again calling up another national sports talk show to talk about Kobe who had just blew a game by forcing up a shot over a damn triple team and he had 2 teamates waving their arms at him trying to get his attention. Once again, I get so pissed off because Kobe gets compared to Jordan and I don't want people mista more
Ok here I am again calling up another national sports talk show to talk about Kobe who had just blew a game by forcing up a shot over a damn triple team and he had 2 teamates waving their arms at him trying to get his attention. Once again, I get so pissed off because Kobe gets compared to Jordan and I don't want people mistaking the way Kobe plays, for the way Jordan masterfully played. I support LeBron and I can understand the comparisons he draws because he is a physical freak of nature and he puts up some great all around production. I would rather have kids think that Jordan played more like LeBron than I would have them think he played like Kobe. In all reality Jordan played like Jordan and there is no one on his level.
So I rant, and within 30 minutes some guy from LA calls up the show to voice his displeasure, which was fine. He totally doesn't comprehend why a Michael Jordan fan would be sickened by the guy who draws all of these comparisons and the way he plays. It still sickens me that these comparisons are still around, and the guys who make it never seem to be able to grasp the fact that historians of the NBA may have a different opinion than them. Grant Hill fans were talking greatest of all time crap when he was running up the stats and grabbing 10+ damn rebounds per game as a wing player....
So of course I get called a Kobe hater for being sickened by the way the man plays. Go figure.
Then you hear a guy from chicago who called up to talk about some dumb city war shit, this is how stupid it gets. I mean a dumb sports opinion can turn into pure stupidity.
Now we have a drunk Nash fan, this guy makes no sense, but he's trying to say team play is important, classic case of a guy who got nervous talking on the air.
Now you hear me again talking about LeBron vs Jordan comparison, this was circa 2006. If you cant tell, that's JT the Brick that Im talking to, I took a couple of \'body shots\' on Kobe during the call because JT the Brick is a goof. Jordan averaged 8 assists per game in the playoffs at the age of 21, Jordan also averaged 5.9 assists per game on the season..
He talks about how LeBron \'could be\' better than Magic or Jordan, I agree he \'could be\' but I wouldn't say that is probable. Better than Magic, yeah, I can see that, but not Jordan...
