1st thank you for taking the time to read this and you know who you are, cause you just read this. ;) Next lemme say this is my best work of any video I've made bar none. It has more creativity and heart put into it then my regular MMVs. Anyhoo I present to you my MS paint theatre music video of, Bob and Doug's 12 Days Of Christmas. Loved listening to this song as a kid, it was and still is cool as hell and a funny Christmas classic chock full of the typical Canadian content eh hoser, which to be honest could be played in June and still be fun to listen to. It took 5 days with lack of food, sleep and cigarettes with some of the most time consuming tedium you might find only by mowing a lawn with tweezers. To give you more insight into just how tedious this was, please let me share with you my trials and tribulations regarding this video. When I 1st thought of doing this I said yeah this will be fun to bring the song to life since there never really was a music video for it. But man I bit off more then I could chew with this project. I had to fix up all the photos on MS paint and I'm talking zooming in and touching up the photos pixel by pixel in most cases, I don't even have photo shop. So I had to piece pictures together which made up the individual frames/clips of the video, save it and digitize it to video. Then I had to do all the timing of when each word was said and piece it together perfectly to match the video on my own. By that I mean by simply writing down at what time every little thing was said on the audio portion and hopefully getting it to match later on. This was really time consuming since every time the picture changes, that is a whole new picture I had to make just for that 1 frame if you will. I have a whole new respect for people who make claymation movies now lol. On top of that my crappy Windows 98 can't run Adobe or even lowly Windows movie maker, so I have to use an even crappier movie maker. That's why you see no transitions in my videos. Anyhow it's prone to crashing alot which gave me headache after headache. However in the end I realized I came to far and couldn't quit, and so many times I wanted to ahhhhh, but I did it. *Stands on mountain arms raised* I BEAT YOU VIDEO!! I WON, I MADE YOU!!!! Oh... sorry, still a little sleep deprived. O_o The video turned out unbelievably well, all that hard work definately paid off but I'm glad it's over wow. Never again, hmmm well maybe but not as elaborate as this one that's for damn sure lol. Anyhow thanks for reading my long ass novel about my tale of blood sweat and tears into this video, or should I say blood sweat and beers eh. Peace all Merry Christmas, please comment and enjoy!
