convincing. She could talk
through gag and gas mask and I
actually had a job shutting
her up. There's an out-take at
the end of the video where
she's struggling and looking
stressed and she suddenly
cracks up. Most of the content
for this video remains
unedited and was a little too
\'out there\' but I didn't
know what I wanted when I
started the project. Half of
this rock track was written in
the early 80's and the rest in
the naughties. The song drops
a semi-tone in the middle and
I manage to return to key by
bending the strings and organ
up 1 semi-tone. This part of
the song remained stagnant for
20 years and I eventually
sussed out this effortless
move by accident. I wrote
\'Gothic\' from bits that were
also written for this same
drum arrangement / BPM in
1980-82. The full version of
\'Caprice\' is about 10
minutes long and I could
easily make an album just by
pissing about with left overs
from this one track. This
version recorded 2003.
