I love your video and it brings back wonderful memories. I used to lead treks to the Everest Base Camp. Lukla was not paved in those days. I also helped Sherpas build the first hut system in Nepal in 1990. We built 18 lodges in the Everest region including a large one in Namche. My goal has been to let the world know about the amazing Sherpa tribe that lives in the region. Beyond the Summit is the first work to dramatize their lives in fiction. It gives an intimate look into their culture and the whole Everest region. It also includes a love story because so many women have fallen in love with Sherpas. The last part of the story is a climb up Everest from the porter's point of view. The book has received five star reviews from readers. Please go to my web site to read reviews, see slides of the area and learn about my Sherpa slide show. www.beyondthesummit-novel.com
The book is available a t local stores, on amazon, and my web site.
