follicles. Acne lesions are
commonly referred to as
pimples, spots, plukes or
zits. Acne will generally
reappear quite soon after the
end of treatmentâ??days later
in the case of topical
applications, and weeks later
in the case of oral
antibiotics. Acne scars are
unsightly, and it is for this
reason they can be
psychologically and
emotionally distressing. Acne
scars are difficult and
expensive to treat, and it is
unusual for the scars to be
successfully removed
completely.
